Does interacting with a text physically change our relationship to it? How can printed objects continue to expand the formal limits of art and communication amid the hegemony of the digital?

We invite you to experiment at the Centre for Expanded Poetics with our risograph printing press. The risograph is high-volume digital duplicator driven by an internalized screen printing process. The risograph can copy from physical or digital originals and can print on paper-weights from newsprint to cardstock. With two internal print drums for simultaneous colour printing, five colours (red, yellow, blue, green, black, & fluorescent pink), professional cutting & binding equipment for bookmaking, a variety of papers for student use, and trained risograph technician on-hand, we look forward to creating creative & innovate student projects.

We will be closed for collaborations from May-August, but will be re-opening in September 2019. Contact Risograph Technician, Jessica Bebenek (jessica_bebenek@yahoo.ca) for collaboration proposals.
